Spring Ski Season Runs Daily Through April 12, Followed by Weekend Access Into May

TANNERSVILLE, Pa. – Thanks to the bounty of Mother Nature and enhanced snowmaking techniques, Camelback Resort is excitedly extending winter well into spring, announcing daily skiing and riding through April 12, 2026, followed by weekend operations through the first weekend of May conditions and weather permitting – positioning the resort for its longest ski season ever.

This milestone season surpasses Camelback’s previous record of April 9, 2009, and marks a significant moment for Pennsylvania winter sports. With deep late-season snowpack and sustained cold-weather, Camelback can offer spring skiing conditions typically reserved for northern New England.

“Camelback has always been a four-seasons resort, and this extended ski season is a perfect example our commitment,” said Jason Bays, vice president and general manager for Camelback Resort. “Offering spring skiing in May is not only huge for Pennsylvania, but also gives New Yorkers and Mid-Atlantic skiers an incredible and closer alternative to the long drive north to Vermont.”

Current conditions support the extended schedule with approximately 30 feet of snow depth on Cliff Hanger and 20 feet on Nile Mile, providing strong coverage for spring turns. The Stevenson Lift will service designated spring trails during late-season operations.

In addition to skiing and riding, snow tubing will remain open daily through April 12, extending winter fun for families and tubing enthusiasts.

Après Goes Coastal With Weekend Beach Parties at Trails End

Spring skiing weekends will ignite a festive après-ski atmosphere at Trails End Pub & Grille, Camelback’s ski-in, ski-out eatery. Each weekend, Trails End will host beach party-themed gatherings featuring music, cocktails and a laid-back coastal vibe. Beach bashes will take place Fridays from 2 to 8 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Special spring skiing rates are expected to be announced in March.

Camelback’s extended season underscores the resort’s growing reputation as a year-round destination highlighting a rare opportunity for excellent spring skiing in the Pocono Mountains – bringing bluebird days, softer snow and après-ski celebrations closer to home for East Coast snow enthusiasts.
