UNCASVILLE, CT (January 15, 2026) – Two of Motown’s most iconic groups, The Commodores & The Spinners, are set to bring an unforgettable “Evening of Love Songs”, classic hits and soulful sounds to Mohegan Sun Arena on Saturday, February 14th at 7:00pm. Fans can look forward to a night filled with timeless favorites from these music pioneers.
Tickets go on sale on Friday, January 16th via Ticketmaster and at the Mohegan Sun Box Office starting Saturday, January 17th.

In 1968, the group was formed while all the members were in college at Tuskegee Institute. After being discovered by Berry Gordy, the Commodores went on to sell over 60 million records for Motown. With a legacy spanning over six decades, The Spinners are one of R&B’s most iconic groups, recently honored with induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame (2023). Known for defining the smooth Philadelphia Soul sound, they delivered timeless hits like “I’ll Be Around”, “Could It Be I’m Falling in Love”, “Then Came You”, and “The Rubberband Man”. Their career boasts six Grammy nominations, 18 Platinum and Gold albums, millions of records sold, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Starting in Detroit at Tri-Phi Records before joining Motown and later Atlantic Records, The Spinners helped shape the “MotownPhilly” sound era. Today, as they enter their 70th year, the group continues to perform to sold-out crowds worldwide, cementing their place in music history and in the hearts of fans across generations.
