The cafe is a little hard to find on your first visit. The address is 203 Church Street, but you are asked not to use that door. If you continue towards the Fire House to the alley between the two buildings (marked with a Do Not Enter sign,) you need to take a right into the alley and walk to the small parking lot on the right. Walk towards the buildings at the back of the tiny lot and heed the sign to take a right into a tiny alleyway that leads to the correct entrance. Don’t give up...If I can find it, you can too!

The genial owner assured me that once the offices in the building above empties out, parking spaces become available in the small lot. Scheduling events on the weekends improves patrons’ chances of parking nearby; some parking is also available in the lot that runs behind the building next door.
Cook’s Café is where you go to see your local bands. Spread the word.
