King of Cups
Ahhh, a Court Card! These cards are either the Client, someone in the Client’s life or the characteristics of someone the Client has met or will meet. There might be motivation to start a family, which could include a proposal or suggestion to the wife to have children; also a motivation to be a new and better provider, father and husband, or be more emotionally mature.
The King of Cups is also known as the “Godfather” card. He is the gentle, kindhearted, fatherly type who not only can bandage wounds and tell bedtime stories; he is great at coaching sports teams. Like the “Godfather” he is willing to do terrible things to protect his Kingdom (ie: family, friends, home, etc...) from those who would cause him anguish. In his Kingdom he wants everyone to be polite and act their age emotionally. He will work his fingers to the bone to provide for his family.

He can be a Judge because he is very sensitive to fairness and can put himself in others’ shoes and figure out their motivations because he understands emotions and is typically a master of his own; however on the other side of the coin if his son does anything wrong he would bail him out. He is not above manipulation to get people to do what he wants them to do. He can be too sentimental and emotional at times.
