Dog Named Lucky Victim Of Animal Cruelty And Needs Surgery

NAUGATUCK, CT—Naugatuck Animal Control is seeking monetary donations for a dog named Lucky that has been severely abused. Any donations can be sent to: "Naugatuck Veterinary Hospital - 562B Rubber Avenue, Naugatuck, CT 06770." Please specify that the donation is for Lucky.

"Any proceeds that are left over will be held by Naugatuck Veterinary Hospital for future animals in need. We will let everyone know when we reach our goal for this surgery. Thank you for your help!!"

In a video, Naugatuck Animal Control says Lucky was involved in a cruelty case and came to them undernourished and dehydrated. They say surgery is needed. She has growths on her belly and also has a whole in her upper mouth and nasal passage. Surgery is required to save Lucky's life, animal control staff say.
