Four Naugatuck High School Students Arrested in November

The High School's School Resource Officer handled four separate incidents at the school, which led to the court arrests.

Four Naugatuck High School students were arrested in the past two weeks in separate incidents that range from allegedly pushing a security guard, fighting and yelling in the halls, police said Monday.

Three of the arrests occurred on November 12.

Here is a rundown of each arrest based on what Naugatuck police released to the media Monday.

  • On November 12 at 11 a.m. the School Resource Officer responded to a disturbance at the high school. A juvenile allegedly pushed a security guard while serving an in-school suspension. The juvenile was charged with breach of peace and released to a family member.
  • Also on November 12 at 1 p.m. the SRO responded to another disturbance at the High School. The juvenile was involved in a physical altercation with another student, police said. The juvenile was charged with breach of peace and released to a family member.
  • Also on November 12 at around 1 p.m. the SRO responded to another disturbance at the High School. A juvenile was running in the hallway, causing an annoyance and interfering with other students, police said. That student was charged with disorderly conduct.
  • Then on November 10, the SRO investigated a disturbance that occurred at the High School on November 6. During the investigation, it was determined that two female students were involved in an altercation. Police said one juvenile allegedly grabbed the other by the arm causing bruising. During the altercation the juvenile allegedly pushed and slapped the other female juvenile. The female student was charged with disorderly conduct.
