Actors join previously announced Peter Jacobson for production running February 27-March 29, 2026

February 2, 2026, Hartford, CT – Hartford Stage is pleased to announce additional casting for its production of Death of a Salesman. These performers join acclaimed stage and screen actor Peter Jacobson, who was previously announced to play Willy Loman. Arthur Miller’s poignant interrogation of the perilously high cost of the American Dream takes the stage from February 27 to March 29, 2026.

“Death of a Salesman remains one of the most compelling examinations of identity, family, and the American dream,” says Artistic Director Melia Bensussen, who is directing this production. “I look forward to exploring the enduring power and urgency of Miller’s play with this talented cast and inviting audiences to experience its profound resonance in this current moment.”

In addition to Jacobson, the production will feature Adrianne Krstansky as Linda Loman, Stephen Cefalu, Jr. as Bernard, Michael Cullen as Uncle Ben, Nora Eschenheimer as The Woman, Mike Houston as Charley, Max Katz as Happy Loman, Samuel H. Levine as Biff Loman, Rebecca Strimaitis as Miss Forsythe, and Patrick Zeller as Howard Wagner/Stanley.

The production features scenic design by Sara Brown, costume design by Harry Nadal, lighting design by Matthew Richards, sound design by Darron L West, wig, hair, and makeup design by J. Jared Janas, fight direction and intimacy coordination by Ted Hewlett, dialect and vocal coaching by Julie Foh, and casting by Alldaffer & Donadio Casting. The stage manager is Nicole Wiegert, and the assistant stage manager is Julius Cruz.

Tickets and Performance Details:

Death of a Salesman runs from February 27 to March 29, 2026, with evening performances at 7:30 p.m. and matinees at 2:00 p.m. Tickets start at $20, with lowest prices during preview performances February 27 through March 5. Groups of 10 or more receive a 20% discount; more information is available at HartfordStage.org/Group-Sales.

The theater advises audiences to be careful and not purchase tickets through any other website. Third party re-sellers will try to sell false tickets for twice the price or more.
