Home Invasion Suspects Sought: Naugatuck Police

Two men are in custody and police are seeking two other suspects in connection with a home invasion. Police say they are armed and dangerous

NAUGATUCK, CT — Police have arrested two men and are seeking two others in connection with a home invasion and robbery earlier this week. At about 12 noon May 25, Naugatuck police responded to an apartment on Horton Hill Road on the report of a home invasion/robbery.

Police said it was reported that three armed masked men entered the apartment and held three women at gunpoint while they stole more than $14,000 in cash, dozens of high-end sneakers, three video game consoles and a laptop. There were no reported injuries from the robbery.

The suspects left in a vehicle and were tracked back to Bridgeport where Naugatuck and Bridgeport police began to check the area. One of the suspects was seen exiting a vehicle with property that was stolen during the Naugatuck robbery, police said.

Police tried to stop the suspect vehicle, however, it fled a short distance before the occupants ran out of the vehicle. Police arrested two of the four occupants immediately and recovered numerous items, including a gun that was believed to have been used in the robbery, police said.

The two men who got away have been identified by police as Khalil Rasheem Abdul-Hakeem, 21, of Bridgeport, and Leequaje Adrian Jihad Jackson Brown, 22, of Naugatuck. Both men are considered armed and dangerous, according to police.

Police said arrest warrants for Abdul-Hakeem and Jackson Brown have been secured and the Naugatuck Police Department along with the U.S. Marshals Office are actively searching for them. Anyone with information is asked to contact the U.S. Marshals Office at 203-800-6001.

“We ask that should the public see any of these individuals that they do not approach but instead contact law enforcement immediately,” police said in a news release.

Nasir Omari Blow, 22, of Bridgeport, and Jacarri Pettway, 20, of Bridgeport, were arrested earlier this week.

Blow was charged with criminal use of weapon, first-degree robbery, conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery, first-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit first-degree larceny, second-degree criminal mischief, conspiracy to commit second-degree criminal mischief, home invasion, conspiracy to commit home invasion and carrying a dangerous weapon.

Pettway was charged with first-degree robbery, conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery, first-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit first-degree larceny, second-degree criminal mischief, conspiracy to commit second-degree criminal mischief, home invasion and conspiracy to commit home invasion.
