WATERBURY, CT— The Palace Theater's I Wrote That! author talk series welcomes New York Times bestselling novelist Martha Hall Kelly in conversation with Scot Haney of WFSB Channel 3, on Wednesday, October 15 at 7:00 p.m. Kelly will discuss her career, the stories behind her novels, and the research that informs her work. The evening will also include a look at her upcoming novel, More Than Famous, due out in May 2027.

Kelly is the author of Lilac Girls, Lost Roses, Sunflower Sisters, The Golden Doves, and The Martha's Vineyard Beach and Book Club. Her novels have sold more than two million copies and have been published in 50 countries.

A Massachusetts native, Kelly earned journalism degrees from Syracuse University and Northwestern University before working as an advertising copywriter. She now lives between Litchfield, Connecticut, Hobe Sound, Florida, and New York City.
