IDIO(ma)TIC arrives this weekend

This is your reminder that IDIO(ma)TIC arrives this weekend — March 28 — for a one-night-only World Premiere Workshop at The Press Box Theater.

And make no mistake — this is a big deal.

This is a new play from John Cariani — the Tony Award–nominated playwright behind Almost, Maine, one of the most produced plays in the country — Tor Hyams (Grammy Award–nominated producer) and Lisa St. Lou (Broadway veteran, The Producers), and directed by Carol Ziske.

There is real potential that this piece goes on to have a major life.

And this weekend is the very first time it will ever be performed in front of an audience.

In IDIO(ma)TIC, everyday idioms come to life in surprising, hilarious, and deeply human ways — blending sharp comedy with a story that sneaks up on you emotionally.
