WATERBURY, CT — A man died Sunday in Waterbury after his pickup truck struck an SUV and a church, according to reports.

Officers responded around 3:45 a.m. to the scene outside St. John’s Episcopal Church at West Main and Church streets, WTNH reported.

The truck driver died at St. Mary’s Hospital, according to WTNH, which reported the SUV driver was not seriously hurt and the church saw only minor damage.
