NAUGATUCK, CT — Lets hear it for James Bang, who spent 24 hours on Black Friday in front of Walmart collecting money for the Salvation Army in Greater Waterbury.

Bang, who is a Salvation Army captain, stood there in the cold for 24 hours to help raise funds, according to the Republican-American. The goal was to collect as many $20 donations as possible but all sums of money was accepted. The Salvation Army provides food and shelter to so many people in the United States.
