Man Stabbed By Wife In Naugatuck Throws Own Blood At Paramedics: Police
BREAKING: Police say the man who was stabbed Sunday was already wanted on kidnapping and strangulation charges involving his wife.

NAUGATUCK, CT — Police say a woman is accused of stabbing her husband during a domestic dispute in Naugatuck, and while the man was being transported via ambulance he allegedly threw his own blood at the emergency responders.
Police also said they learned the stabbing victim was wanted on several charges in Ansonia, including strangulation and kidnapping.
It all began at 4:53 a.m. Sunday as officers responded to the 200 block of High Street on a report of a stabbing, police said. The call was made by a woman later identified as Michele Sharik, 39, who advised that her husband had been stabbed but would not provide information as to how he was stabbed or who had stabbed him, police said.

Responding officers treated a male subject, later identified as Justin Bohn, 38, for a stab wound to his neck, police said. Officers determined that Bohn and Sharik were the only two occupants of the residence, police said. Both subjects were uncooperative with officers and would not provide any information as to what happened leading up to the injuries sustained by Bohn, police said.
Officers noted signs of a disturbance having occurred in the residence. Sharik advised only that she and Bohn had a dispute that that led to Bohn's injuries and would not elaborate any further, police said. Officers observed that Sharik had a small red mark on her throat however she would not tell officers how she received the mark and made several statements throughout the investigation that she was not victimized during the incident, police said.

It was determined that Bohn provided officers with a false first name during the initial phases of the investigation and would not provide officers, paramedics or hospital staff with any identifying information including a last name or date of birth, police said.
While Bohn was transported to Waterbury Hospital he continued to be uncooperative by ripping off bandages and sticking his fingers into his wound then throwing blood at paramedics, police said. Detectives were able to eventually positively identify Bohn through the investigative records and CT Department of Corrections information, police said.
Detectives discovered that Bohn had an outstanding arrest warrant out of Ansonia for domestic charges that included kidnapping and strangulation charges that involved Sharik and charges for probation violations, police said.
Based on the investigation, the two subjects involved were charged as follows:
Justin Bohn (7/25/78) - 1 Count of “Assault on Emergency Personnel”
Michele Sharik (5/5/1977) – 1 Count each of “Assault in the Second Degree” and “Disorderly Conduct”
Both subjects were held on bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court today.
