Maple Hill Elementary School Welcomes New Principal

We are pleased to share the incredibly exciting news with our Naugatuck Public Schools community that the Naugatuck Board of Education unanimously appointed Mrs. Mallory Brito as the next Principal of Maple Hill Elementary School!

Mrs. Brito brings 17 years of experience in public education, including five years serving as an administrator and instructional leader in Waterbury Public Schools, along with prior service in New Haven. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to student achievement, inclusive school culture, and collaborative leadership.

She is widely recognized as a present, reflective, and service-driven leader who believes deeply that schools thrive when relationships, clarity, and communication are at the center of the work. Her leadership experience includes strengthening school climate and culture, expanding shared leadership structures, improving literacy outcomes, increasing family engagement, and building strong intervention and student support systems. Her work has also included rebuilding and supporting complex special education program structures and leading student intervention teams.
