Meet the Cast of 'The Gin Game' at CTAW

Dear Friends of Community Theatre at Woodbury,

As rehearsals continue for The Gin Game, we are excited to introduce the two actors bringing this powerful and witty play to life.

Noel Desiato stars as Fonsia Dorsey. The Gin Game marks Noel’s first production with The Community Theatre Woodbury, and we are thrilled to welcome her. Recent performances include The Country House and I Never Sang for My Father with Newtown Players. Noel has appeared in numerous local and regional productions, including her touring one woman show Tea at Five, in which she portrays Katharine Hepburn. She studied with Stella Adler in New York City and also enjoyed a career working in film and television.

Gus Bottazzi takes on the role of Weller Martin. This is also Gus’s first production with The Community Theatre Woodbury. His recent acting credits include A Flea in Her Ear, Amadeus, Boeing Boeing, Dracula, 12 Angry Men, and Requiem for a Heavyweight. As a director, Gus’s work includes I Never Sang for My Father.

We are so proud to have these talented performers on our stage and cannot wait for you to see their remarkable chemistry when The Gin Game opens this March.

The Gin Game by D.L. Coburn is a Pulitzer Prize winning drama starring Gus Bottazzi and Noel Desiato. A powerful, intimate story of friendship, rivalry, and resilience.
