Milford Man Driving Wrong Way on One Way Street Charged with DUI
The incident occurred on Jan. 10 in Naugatuck.

A Milford man driving the wrong way on North Main Street in Naugatuck was charged with driving under the influence.
An officer stopped Joseph Twarkins, 23, on Jan. 10 at around 2:30 a.m. After conducting a motor vehicle investigation, the officer found that Twarkins was driving under the influence.
Twarkins was charged with driving the wrong way one a one way street and operating under the influence of drugs and alcohol.

The man was released on a $500 non-surety bond and given a court date of Jan. 22.
