Mixed-Use Development Pitched for Former General DataComm Property
The project includes upscale apartments targeted for working artists, and office space to Naugatuck's downtown.

A plan to turn the vacant General DataComm building at 6 Rubber Avenue into a mixed-use development featuring apartments and office space passed its first hurdle this week, reports Paul Singley, of the Republican-American.
The proposal includes 96 studio-style affordable housing units, office space and parking for about 100 vehicles, the Rep-Am reports.
The Planning Commission gave the proposal a positive referral to the Zoning Commission for zone changes.
