Mother and Son, 5, Reported Missing in Naugatuck Found Safely: BREAKING
Naugatuck police say the mother was picking her son, 5, up at the school bus Friday afternoon and they haven't been seen since.

Missing persons, Ruth Pinto and Jonathan Valdez-Aparicio have been located and found to be safe and unharmed.
NAUGATUCK, CT — The Naugatuck Police Department received a missing person’s report on a mother and son after family members reported the two failed to return home Friday afternoon.

Family members advised that Ruth Pinto, 37, advised she was going to pick up her son Jonathan, 5, from his school bus at about 3:30 p.m. and both subjects never returned home, police Lt. Bryan Cammarata said.
The family advised that Pinto also failed to make a scheduled appointment today.
