Naugatuck Board of Education Welcomes New Member
Kim Gallo now has a seat on the Board of Education.

Naugatuck - The Naugatuck Board of Education is pleased to welcome the newest member of the Board.
Kimberly Gallo grew up in Naugatuck and raised her three kids in the borough. After 40 years in education, including teaching at Shepaug Valley School, Gallo retired with the Class of 2021, but wasn't ready to leave education. She will take the Board of Education seat that became open with the resignation of Aaron McCool and will serve until November of 2023.
"It's something that I love and have a passion for, so I'm thrilled to serve on the Board of Education," Gallo said.

Board of Education Chair Jeff Litke expressed at the regular meeting on Oct. 13 that there were numerous well-qualified candidates for the position
Robert Sagendorf, Jr. shared his thoughts about Gallo's appointment. "Mrs. Gallo attended Borough schools, came back to become one of our finest teachers and administrators, moved on to other schools systems where she shone brightly as a truly involved, compassionate, strong leader while never losing sight of the importance of educating young students. Her wealth of knowledge across myriad platforms will be a great gift to the Naugatuck school system. Bravo Mrs. Gallo."
