Naugatuck Closes Golf Course Due To Lack Of Social Distancing
A decision on whether to open the golf course will be made later this week.
NAUGATUCK, CT — We should know sometime this week whether local officials will reopen the Hop Brook Golf Course after Mayor Pete Hess ordered it closed Friday due to concerns that some people were not adhering to proper social distancing standards, My Citizen's News reports.
Police were called to the golf course last week as large groups of people were found in the parking lot, officials said, which is what led to its closing.
