Naugatuck Man, 72, Accused of Sexual Assault: Police
Naugatuck police say they responded to a sexual assault report on Tuesday.

NAUGATUCK, CT — A 72-year-old Borough man is accused of sexually assaulting a woman that was known to him, police said.
Police said at 1:52 p.m. Tuesday, officers investigated a reported sexual assault that occurred on the same date.
The victim, who is an adult female and who knew the accused, Luis Usera, 72, of Conrad Street, told police that Usera tried to kiss her, and forcefully pinned and grabbed her in a sexual way, police said.

Usera is charged with disorderly conduct, third-degree sexual assault and second-degree reckless endangerment.
He is scheduled to appear in court on July 27.
