Naugatuck Man Accused of Driving With Child, Gun, and Heroin in Car: Police
Police say the pulled the vehicle over after receiving a suspicious vehicle complaint.

Naugatuck police say a borough resident is accused of driving while under the influence with his child in the car and he was also allegedly found in possession of a handgun and heroin.
Police say at 12:54 a.m. on June 19 officers responded to Ridge Road on a report of a suspicious vehicle complaint.
During the investigation it was determined that the accused was allegedly driving while under the influence of either alcohol or drugs, police said.

Police say Daniel Bachman, 22, of Ridge Road also had his child in the vehicle and he was found to be in possession of a handgun and heroin.
He was released after posting a $5,000 bond and is charged with risk of injury to a child, illegally caring a firearm, possession of a controlled substance, and carrying a pistol without a permit.
