Naugatuck Named One Of Safest Places To Live In CT

NAUGATUCK, CT — SafeWise recently presented a certificate to Naugatuck leaders recognizing the community for its Safest City in Connecticut award.

"Naugatuck was ranked the 18th Safest City in Connecticut due to its commitment to the safety and security of its residents," according to SafeWise.

Naugatuck was cited for its efforts in community safety and crime prevention.

"The Naugatuck Police Department is pleased to announce that the Borough of Naugatuck has been identified as the 18th safest community in the State of Connecticut by the Safewise group," Naugatuck officials said.

"The citation reads that Naugatuck is recognized for “its officials’ efforts in community safety and crime prevention.”
