Naugatuck Offers Help For Storm Debris Removal
Mayor Pete Hess said the Public Works Department will assist the community in picking up storm debris.

NAUGATUCK, CT — This week the Board of Mayor and Burgesses voted to have the Department of Public Works Department assist the community in picking up storm debris (Limbs and Branches), said Mayor Pete Hess.
Here are the requirements to participate:
- Residents must call DPW for pickup on or before August 21, 2020, M-F 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM 203-720-7071

- Branches, Limbs and Brush must be curbside by 7:00 AM, August 22, 2020
- Debris will only be picked up along public roads

- All debris shall be from Storm Isaias other debris will be left behind
- DPW will not schedule collections or call before pickups are made
- When an area is picked up DPW will not return
- DPW shall not be responsible for damage to grass
- No Construction/demolition debris, MSW or household Items
- No Stumps
- All collections will be completed on weekends and may take 5 weeks to complete.
