Naugatuck Police Ask For Public's Help Solving Cold Case Murder

A $50,000 reward is currently being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrator, according to police.

NAUGATUCK, CT — Naugatuck police are asking for the public's help solving the cold case murder of Sandra Ramos-Cuadrado, a 51-year-old Naugatuck woman who was found stabbed to death in her Olive Street home on Feb. 18, 2005.

In a news release provided by the department Tuesday, police noted the case continues to be investigated by Naugatuck detectives in conjunction with the Cold Case Unit of the Connecticut State's Attorney's Office.

"The Naugatuck Police Department would like to take the opportunity on the anniversary of Sandra's death to remember her life, extend our condolences to her family, and request the public's assistance in identifying the perpetrator," police said in a news release.

Police noted a $50,000 reward is currently being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the murderer.
