Naugatuck Police Charge Man for Illegally Having a Facebook Account

The courts had ordered the man not to have a Facebook account previously as part of a protective order issued against him.

Naugatuck police say David Hall, 23, of West Porter Street in Waterbury, was arrested while he attended court on an active arrest warrant last week.

Police said the warrant was for a violation of a protective order issued on June 26. The accused was found to have a Facebook account, which was in violation of a protective order stating that his personal electronic social media sites shall be closed, police said.

He was charged with criminal violation of a restraining order.
