NAUGATUCK, CT — The Naugatuck Police Department recently hired two new officers with a number of years of experience in police work.

In a Facebook post, police said Officer Christopher Gagnon joins the department after 14 years of work with the Waterbury Police Department.

Additionally, Officer Samuel Chiovitti joins the department after a year of working for the Milford Police Department. Both officers were officially sworn in Monday, police said.
