Naugatuck Police Hire 2 New Officers

NAUGATUCK, CT — The Naugatuck Police Department recently hired two new officers with a number of years of experience in police work.

In a Facebook post, police said Officer Christopher Gagnon joins the department after 14 years of work with the Waterbury Police Department.

Additionally, Officer Samuel Chiovitti joins the department after a year of working for the Milford Police Department. Both officers were officially sworn in Monday, police said.

Police also noted the department is still accepting applications for lateral transfers from certified officers. More information on how to apply is available here.
