Naugatuck Police Stepping Up Enforcement Next Week

NAUGATUCK, CT — The Naugatuck Police Department is teaming up with the Connecticut Department of Transportation and other law enforcement agencies across the state to ensure that you arrive to Thanksgiving Dinner safe and sound.

During the Thanksgiving Holiday, NPD will be conducting a high visibility Click it or Ticket enforcement campaign, that kicks of November 25, 2019 until December 2, 2019, in order to work toward reducing the number of fatalities that occur when drivers and passengers fail to buckle up.

Everyone wants you to get to the table safely this year, so it’s critical to practice safe driving habits, NPD urges both drivers, and passengers to buckle up, every trip, every time.
