Need a Place to Grab an Italian Dinner? Try This Local Getaway

My husband, Dan and I thought about where to go for our Valentine's weekend dinner, and didn't need to think twice about going to . We had been to this lovely little restaurant before and were served the most wonderful stuffed pork chops we had ever eaten.

Anna Donte' is a small Italian restaurant, specializing in handmade ravioli dishes, as well as a large variety of authentic Italian entrees, all at very reasonable prices.  The portions are huge and absolutely delicious! 

We ordered eggplant parmesan and chicken parmesan, both served with pasta and crusty Italian bread. We also enjoyed the handmade lobster ravioli, and I must say, it is everything I've heard about. Tender ravioli with savory lobster meat!

We brought our own wine and enjoyed the food, the service and the atmosphere very leisurely even though the restaurant was quickly filling up with patrons during a holiday weekend.

Anna Donte' herself went to each table speaking with diners and welcoming everyone. When she reached our table she introduced herself and we had a very nice chat. 

Located at 384 North Main St. in Naugatuck, you are encouraged to make reservations for your lunch or dinner dates. BYOB only, you may bring your favorite libations and enjoy your meals at a reasonable price, with an attentive staff and efficient service.
