New Date for Waterbury ARC Fundraiser Announced

The fundraiser that was originally scheduled to take place on June 3 has been pushed out further due to the pandemic.

Waterbury, CT - Bridget Marie Noujaim, the Volunteer Event Co-Chair for the Waterbury ARC has announced the postponement of the Waterbury ARC (WARC) fundraiser that was originally scheduled to take place on June 3, 2020.

The new date will be Sept. 9, 2020 from 6-9 p.m. at the Grand Oak Villa in Watertown. Any questions about the postponement can be directed to (203) 591-9190.

The mission of the Waterbury ARC is to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live, learn, work and participate in their communities. Funds raised from this year's event are earmarked for substantial electrical and air-conditioning work in the building's gymnasium, which is the heart of the East Main Street non-profit. The Waterbury ARC serves clients from Waterbury and 12 surrounding cities and towns.

As the new date gets closer, organizers will be sending out another press release. "Stay safe, healthy, and well! God bless you and your families," added Ms. Noujaim.
