Obituary: Nancy Lu Nori, 89, Of Milford

MILFORD, CT — Nancy Lu Nori, age 89, of Milford, beloved wife of John Eugene Nori for 67 years, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

Nancy was born in Waterbury on April 25, 1933, to the late Walter and Alice Quinlin Ahearn. She graduated from Crosby High School and attended Waterbury Hospital School of Nursing. Nancy worked at Waterbury Hospital for many years and later was a volunteer and auxiliary officer at Milford Hospital.

Survivors include her daughters: Lisa Nori of Milford and Leslie Walsh (Jim) of North Carolina, two grandchildren, Samantha Petrill (Zach) and Brandon Walsh, two great-grandchildren, Liam and Riley Petrill and several nieces and nephews. Nancy is predeceased by her brother, Walter Ahearn Jr.

The family would like to thank US Renal Care for their professionalism and support as well as the compassionate care they showed Nancy. They would also like to thank CT Hospice for their extraordinary ministrations and family support.

Friends and family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, July 23rd at 12:00 p.m. in Saint Agnes Church (Precious Blood Parish), Milford. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CT Hospice or to the National Kidney Foundation.
