WATERBURY – Sally A. Dunnigan, age 56 of Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly at Saint Mary’s Hospital on Monday February 15th 2021 after a brief illness. She was the fiancé of Carlos Gutierre. .

Sally was born December 4th 1964 in Waterbury, CT, the daughter of the late Joseph and Sally (Kerwin) Dunnigan. She was a graduate of Holy Cross High School and worked for many years as a CNA at the Southbury Training School. Sally was a long time volunteer at the God Provides Ministries, a group dedicated to the homeless population. At the time of her passing Sally was a member of Waterbury Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Left to honor Sally’s love and legacy, besides her fiancé, Carlos, are her brother, Joe Dunnigan and his wife, Denise of Wolcott, her sister, Patricia Petrovich and her husband, John of Newport Richey FL. She also leaves her beloved nephew and nieces.

Funeral services for Ms. Dunnigan will be announced as soon as they become available.
