She died at the Beacon Brook Health Care Center in Naugatuck and leaves family in Naugatuck.

Virginia Mary (D’Alessandro) Iacovino, 96, entered the gates of Heaven on Sunday, May 8, 2022 at the Beacon Brook Health Care Center in Naugatuck. She was the loving wife of the late Patrick W. “Patsy” Iacovino, Sr.
Virginia was born in Waterbury on July 28, 1925, a daughter of the late Antonio and Rose (Musso) D’Alessandro. Virginia worked as an inspector for the Holgrath Manufacturing Company for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed to cook authentic Italian dishes, taking trips to the casino and spending time with her family and friends.

She leaves her stepchildren, Patrick Iacovino of East Haven, and Joanne Iacovino-Rodriguez of Waterbury, her granddaughter, Brittany Rodriguez-Bonacassio and her husband, Frank, of Wolcott, her brother, Anthony D’Alessandro of Naugatuck and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Michael and Frank D’Alessandro, and a sister-in-law, Ceil (Arnold) D’Alessandro.
Arrangements: Funeral will be held Thursday, May 12, 2022, 9:30 a.m. from Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury to Mary, Mother of the Church Parish ~ SS. Peter and Paul Church, 67 Southmayd Road, Waterbury, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury. A calling hour will be held Thursday, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
