In this adaptation by the director, King Lear follows an aging king who decides to divide his kingdom among his three daughters based on their flattery, leading to betrayal and madness. The play examines themes of power, family, loyalty, and the consequences of one’s actions.
Casting call & auditions will be held:
Saturday, Jan. 17 • 7:00 to 9:30 pm
Sunday, Jan. 18 • 7:00 to 9:30 pm
Monday, Jan. 19 • Callbacks

- Bring and be prepared to read any dramatic Shakespearean passage of your choice.
- Please bring a recent headshot and resume to the auditions.
- The King Lear role is cast.
- Looking for 3 women and 10+ men (depending on the doubling)
- This play runs weekends starting April 30, 2026 thru May 17, 2026.
