Our Lady of the Assumption Announces RCIA

Our Lady of the Assumption Parish in Woodbridge is offering an opportunity to begin a journey into the Catholic faith.

(Nancy Sasso Janis)

WOODBRIDGE, CT - Our Lady of the Assumption Parish in Woodbridge is offering an opportunity to begin a journey into the Catholic faith for those interested in becoming a member. The process is one of reflecting upon the experiences of one’s life, and the experiences of the Scriptures and the teachings of the Catholic Church. The sharing and experiences, teaching, questioning and discussions offer those participating an opportunity to grow in their understanding of themselves, of their faith journey and the Catholic Church.

Anyone not baptized, or of another faith denomination, or a baptized Catholic needing to complete their Sacraments of Initiation (Eucharist and Confirmation) are invited to “come and see” what God might be calling them to.

Sessions begin Sunday, September 13, at 10:30 am, and will be made available for a small number of people in the Religious Education Meeting Room and also remotely for those who may want to participate from home.
