Pitbull Locked Up For 4 Years Due To Be Euthanized
Several people are urging the city to reconsider euthanization and instead allow Rose the pitbull to live at a shelter.

WATERBURY, CT — A Waterbury pitbull that has been locked up in the pound for four years and is due to be euthanized after an incident has drawn widespread attention.
Rose got free from her owner in April 2014 and bit two people as they tried to catch her, according to Fox 61.
A federal lawsuit was filed earlier this year, but a judge refused to give it class action status. The city requested that it be allowed to move forward with euthanization plans.
