Congratulations to Police Commission Chairman Ralph Roper who received the Franklin Johnson Sr. Award in recognition for his civic service.

Chairman Roper has been on the police commission for over 2 decades, served as a Colonel in the US Army, and is a retired educational professional from our Naugatuck School System. He also was a NHS track coach for many years and many of our officers who grew up in Naugatuck still refer to him fondly as “Coach.”

A well deserved award for a dedicated member of our Naugatuck Community.
