2 Injured In Stabbing Incident On Metro North Train: Naugatuck Police
Naugatuck police said the two men are believed to have been involved in a fight on board the train.

NAUGATUCK, CT — Two men were injured in a stabbing incident reported Monday evening on board a Metro North train at the Naugatuck Train Station, according to authorities.
In an email to Patch, Metropolitan Transportation Authority spokesperson Sean Butler said the incident involved two passengers on board a Metro-North train.
Police were called to the station around 4 p.m. to investigate the stabbing. Officers were at the station when the train arrived, Butler said.

Upon boarding the train, which was traveling from Waterbury to Naugatuck, officers found two men believed to have sustained stab wounds after being involved in a fight on board, police said in a news release.
Both men were treated for their injuries, which police said were non-life threatening. They were later brought to Waterbury Hospital.

Butler said one of the passengers was arrested. Naugatuck police noted there was no threat to the community.
