NAUGATUCK, CT — Police have issued a list of post-storm reminders for Naugatuck residents following a heavy snow that impacted the region Sunday into Monday.
In a Facebook post Monday, police asked residents to help keep Naugatuck safe and passable for everyone as snow cleanup continues.
The weekend storm left piles of snow all across the state, with some areas of Connecticut receiving 12 to 18 inches of snow.

Police remind residents a parking ban remains in effect for up to 12 hours after snowfall ends in Naugatuck to allow for cleanup.
Police also ask that residents:

- Clear sidewalks and walkways within six hours after snowfall stops.
- Do not shovel or snow blow snow into the roadway.
- Please be patient; with the amount of snow Naugatuck received, some snow may be pushed back into driveways during cleanup operations — this is normal.
"Thank you for your cooperation as crews work to clear our streets safely," police wrote on Facebook.
