Preview of Liturgical Composer Curtis Stephan at St. Ann

Curtis Stephan will open the concert with a selection of his compositions and the St. Ann Choir will join him for the second half.

MILFORD - The Saint Ann Community of Faith presents award-winning musician and composer Curtis Stephan in concert with the Saint Ann Choir, Sunday, Sept. 14, 6 p.m., at 501 Naugatuck Ave.

An engaging musician noted for his dynamic presentation style, Stephan holds a Bachelor’s in music and a Master’s in Jazz Studies from the University of North Texas. Currently the music director at Saint Ann Parish in Coppell, Texas, he has recorded three albums with spiritandsong.com, He has also composed theme songs for the National Catholic Youth Conference and the Los Angeles Religious Education Congress Youth Day. His most recent composition, is the well-received Mass of Renewal. Curtis received the 2006 United Award as New Artist of the Year.
