Preview of 'The Crucible' in Winsted

S.T.A.R. students will present the Arthur Miller classic next weekend.

Summer Theatre At Regional 7's (S.T.A.R.7) presents their production of

The Crucible

by Arthur Miller

at Northwestern Regional 7
100 Battistoni Rd.
Winsted, Connecticut 06098

The show is a portrait of a Puritan community in Salem 1692 driven by paranoia into accepting lies as truth and demanding false accusations as the price of survival. It's a beautifully intense show that is a must see.

The production came to life through Regional 7's summer program called  S.T.A.R. 7 and is completely run by the kids. Alumni come back to direct and stage manage and do lighting. Kids from both Gilbert School and Regional 7 are involved.

Showtimes are Friday, July 25 at 7, Saturday, July 26 at 8, and Sunday, July 27 at 2

Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for students, and $5 for seniors (65+) on Sunday
