Preview of Trumbull Youth Association's 'Children of Eden'

Tickets are now on sale for the Trumbull Youth Association's summer musical 'Children of Eden.'

Trumbull Youth Association presents

Children of Eden

Freely based on the story of Genesis, Children of Eden offers a heartfelt and sometimes humorous perspective on the timeless conflict between parents and children.  Adam, Eve, Noah and the “Father” who created them deal with the willful and cataclysmic actions of their respective children.

Children of Eden lauds the incredible power of forgiveness, and delivers a heartfelt and inspiring message: that “the hardest part of love is letting go.” With music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Pippin, Godspell) and a book by John Caird (director of Broadway’s Les Miserables) this is a musical for audiences of all ages. The TYA team is very excited to bring this spectacular, colorful, and inspiring production to Trumbull.

Cast members are between the ages of 13 and 21. Michael Lepore (who was strong in the role of Collins in Trumbull High School's recent production of Rent) will play Abel. Daniel Satter, who played Benjamin Coffin III in Rent, will take on the role of Shem. Click here to view the entire cast list.

The show will run for two weekends beginning August 1st and ending August 10th. On August 1, 2, 8 and 9 the show will begin at 8:00pm and the August 3 and 10 matinees are scheduled for 2:00pm. Reserved seats are  $16.00 each.
