Prospect Woman Accused of Forgery Turns Herself In: Police

The warrant for her arrest has been outstanding since May.

NAUGATUCK, CT — Police arrested a woman when she turned herself in on an outstanding larceny warrant.

Lauren Petti, 33, of Talmadge Hill Road in Prospect, turned herself in to police on Thursday around 3 p.m. She was responding to an active warrant for third degree forgery and fifth degree larceny, reported on May 29.

Petti was accused of cashing a business check for $988 without permission. The check had been obtained from a former employee who had been fired by the company.

Petti was released on a $1,000 surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Sept. 19.
