Report: New Restaurant In the Works For Former Naugatuck Train Station Site
The borough has approved a restaurant offer at the former train station location.

Some good economic news to share regarding Naugatuck.
Jim Perzhilla, who is the owner of Spartan II Pizza Restaurant and Lounge in Southington, has agreed in principle to pay Naugatuck $300,000 to developer the former Train Station site at 195 Water Street, the Republican-American reports.
Perzhilla also agreed to perform about $500,000 in renovations to the site, which will be turned into a restaurant, including an outdoor patio. He will call it The Station, appropriately enough.
