Reports Of 'Mailbox Fishing' On The Rise In Naugatuck

ALERT: Over the past few weeks NPD has received numerous reports for mailbox fishing, resulting in fraud and identity thefts. According to the US Postal Inspector, incidents such as this have been occurring throughout the greater Waterbury area.

NPD is urging our citizens to bring their pieces of mail directly inside the post office, OR drop mail into the blue mailbox before pick up time during daylight hours, NOT at night.
