Rose Hope Animal Refuge Who Never Leaves Any Animal Behind, Needs Your Help
Dining with Scot Haney and bidding at the auction contributes to Rose Hope saving lives, finding forever homes, and building families.

Rose Hope Animal Refuge in Waterbury, CT, a non-kill rescue never leaves any animal behind and is run solely by volunteers. No one at Rose Hope Animal Refuge earns a salary and 100% of the donations goes to the animals. Rose Hope Animal Refuge, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit helps rescue the homeless cats, kittens, dogs, puppies, and even Guinea pigs of Waterbury, Naugatuck, Prospect, Watertown, Middlebury, and the surrounding towns. Every animal is given a chance at a better life because of Rose Hope Animal Rescue.
Over the past month 2 litters of cats and their mother cats have been dropped off, where literally the driver left them and drove off abandoning the animals shivering wet in the cold. As a result, 2 have died. Every week more and more cats and kittens are being dropped off in the Petsmart parking lot where employees find them, such as a small baby cat who was cemented or hard grouted to a box. That same day a 7/8 week old kitten was thrown out of a speeding car, which he has resulted in difficulty walking, road rash on his spine and rear legs. Mercifully, Rose Hope Animal Refuge had Little Chevy seen by a veterinarian, and now he is safe, warm, and talkative. Rose Hope Animal Refuge cleans up the streets of Waterbury and surrounding towns.
In order to prevent the mistreatment of animals Rose Hope Animal Refuge educates the public on the importance of spaying and neutering their pets through a low cost clinic available called H.O.P.E Clinic (Halt Overpopulation Prevent Euthanasia). Their location is 214 Canal Street, Unit # 1, Plantsville Connecticut. 06479. (Plantsville is part of Southington.) The phone number is (203) 437-7955. Rose Hope Animal Refuge does its best to save the lives of animals, and educate people on how to care for them.

I reach out to you because this frequent, weekly, drop off of starving animals hurts the director and volunteers deeply, especially since the overload of animals has strained their resources, and the overwhelming drop off of cats makes finding foster homes difficult as they are in short supply. Would you like to help Rose Hope Animal Refuge? Scot Haney is the master of ceremonies for a benefit dinner held for Rose Hope Animal Refuge on October 16, 2015 at the Colonial Tavern in Oxford, CT from 6-10PM. Items will be auctioned off at the benefit. They are also in dire need of large garbage bags, paper towels, and grocery gift cards to purchase basic essentials for the daily care of the kittens, cats, dogs, puppies, and even a Guinea pig. Monetary, paper towels, and large garbage bag donations can be dropped off at Petsmart located at 475 Bank Street, Waterbury, CT 06708 on Saturdays and Sundays between 12PM - 3PM.
