Seth Bronko Endorsed By CT Fraternal Order Of Police In State Rep Race

Bronko, who is running for state representative of Naugatuck's 70th House District, has been endorsed by the CT Fraternal Order of Police.

NAUGATUCK, CT — Seth Bronko, a candidate running for state representative of Naugatuck's 70th House District, has been endorsed by the CT Fraternal Order of Police.

Bronko announced the endorsement in a news release Wednesday, which included quotes from a letter written to Bronko’s campaign by John Krupinsky, the organization's president.

"It is with great honor that the Connecticut State Fraternal Order of Police announces that it has endorsed you for this upcoming election," Krupinsky said in a news release. "There is no doubt that you will put the best interests of law enforcement and your constituents first…I believe you are the best candidate to move the safety and security of this state forward."

Bronko is the Republican nominee for state representative of the 70th House District. He is looking to replace Republican state Rep. Rosa Rebimbas, who has held the seat for more than a dozen years.

According to Bronko, one of his top priorities in office will be to make the community safer.

"This begins with making sure the men and women in law enforcement have the support from elected officials to do their jobs as needed," the release reads. "Seth will provide the resources necessary for law enforcement to ensure they can continue to perform their duty to protect and serve the community."

Born and raised in Naugatuck, Bronko attended the local public school system before graduating from the University of Connecticut. He started Bronko Construction with his father after college and currently works in real estate full time.

Bronko announced last month his resignation as chairman of the Naugatuck Republican Town Committee, a position he has held since 2020, so he could focus more on his campaign.

Bronko has served on various local boards, including the Finance Board, Naugatuck Economic Development Corporation, Naugatuck Education Foundation, Naugatuck Valley Health District and Naugatuck Youth Services. He lives in Naugatuck with his wife and son.
