Store Robbed In Naugatuck, Police Seek ID Of Suspect: PD
Police are asking for the public's help identifying a man suspected of robbing a Stop and Shop in Naugatuck.
NAUGATUCK, CT — Police are seeking the public's help identifying a man suspected of robbing a Stop and Shop in Naugatuck this week.
The robbery took place Wednesday around 5:30 p.m. at the People's United Bank located inside the store on Rubber Avenue, police said in a news release.
According to police, the man handed someone at the bank a note demanding money, however no weapons were used.

The suspect is described by police as a man of medium height and build with blue eyes and a goatee. He was also described as speaking with a slight lisp.
The suspect was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, dark gray shorts and a black baseball cap, police said.
