Summer Camp Programs, Schedule Announced In Naugatuck
Due to these restrictions, registration will be lottery based for Naugatuck Residents only for the 2020 camp season.

We are happy to be able to release information about our Summer Camp Programs.
Camp sessions are July 6 – 24, 2020 and July 27 - August 14, 2020. Camp will be held from 9am to 3pm daily. There will be no half-day program this year. Camp fee will be $115 per three-week session.

Camps are for children entering grades one through six in Fall of 2020. Camp grades 1 & 2 will be held at the Rec Center & NHS fields. Camp grades 3 & 4 will be held at Hop Brook School & Field. Camp grades 5 & 6 will be held at Naugatuck High School & fields.
Each camp will be limited to 30 campers, separated in to groups of 10. Groups will have extremely limited interaction with each other. Each group will have one supervisor and one counselor assigned to them.

There will be no field trips and guests will be strictly limited. Guests will adhere to all current CDC & State of Ct. guidelines.
Free lunch program will be available.
Campers in grades 5 and 6 will swim at NHS pool on Fridays.
Due to these restrictions, registration will be lottery based for Naugatuck Residents only for the 2020 camp season, in order to be fair and be able to service as many of our families as possible.
Lottery submissions will be accepted June 17 & 18, 2020 from 9am – 5pm. If you are unable to enter the lottery during office hours, please email our office at recreation@naugatuck-ct.gov. We will email you a form to complete. Forms must be received by Friday, June 19, 2020 at 8am.
Lottery entries are limited to one per child for each 3-week session. Parents may also register sibling groups. Sibling groups may only attend one session of camp. There is no guarantee that your child or children will be selected for the Summer Camp Program in 2020.There is no guarantee if you submit entries for multiple campers or sibling groups that all children in a family will be selected or be able to participate in the same session due to limited capacity.
Instructions for entering lottery:
Enter driveway to the Recreation Center, 607 Rubber Ave: drive to the tent located at the office entrance
Receive your ticket(s) and pencil at the tent. Complete one entry for each child per session desired.
Complete one entry for your sibling group for session desired.
Drive around to the back parking lot. Park and complete ticket(s). Turn ticket(s) in to staff when completed.
Drawing will be held and video recorded on June 19, 2020. Those selected will be notified by email by June 20, 2020.
Once selected, registration must be completed and payment received by June 29, 2020.
If registration is not received by June 29, 2020, you will forfeit your spot and the lottery will reopen to fill any vacant positions. If selected, birth certificate will be required for registration.
**Information on Swim lessons, open swim, and tennis lessons will be available on June 22, 2020.
