Suspect Sought in Multiple Naugatuck Liquor Store Robberies

The man is believed to have robbed two liquor stores on Rubber Ave. this past week.

Naugatuck Police are asking residents to help them identify a man who is suspected of attempting to rob two liquor stores on Rubber Avenue with a knife in the past week.

He first ripped off the Cork N Keg on Feb. 8 where he made off with some cash and items.

The same suspect attempted to rob Paliva’s Liquors on Feb. 11. A clerk told him that she wouldn’t give-up money and he left.

In both instances the suspect is described as a heavy set white or Hispanic man of average height and is likely between 30 and 40-years-old, according to police. He had a ski type jacket with either or hat or hoodie covering his head.

Police urge people not to approach the suspect and instead call police at 203-729-7106 or 911 in case of an emergency.
